This is going to be a longer post then usual because I feel it is SO IMPORTANT not only for me… but hopefully for you as well so you may want to print this out if you are in a rush.

I know there is already a billion and 2 sources on the internet on how to achieve your goals, motivation, and how to do your new years resolutions the right way… but I’m going to share with you how I do it.

Lets make 2012 OUR year together to accomplish and achieve more then you have ever achieved in a year. Or even YEARS for that matter.

Lets make this a year that not only YOU achieve your goals… but Inspire everyone around you by the amount of success that you have.  Not to brag or boast… but to be that positive light in their lives.  You have always heard that actions speak louder then words right?

2012 is the year of NO EXCUSES.  It’s the year to put all your other years to shame.  This is the year that YOU will finally be able to quit your job… take more vacations… spend more time with family… get healthier then you have ever been.

First and foremost from this day forward we are now going to take the words can’t, maybe, if, won’t, possible, might, and any other word like this… shove them in a box… go outside and bury them 10 feet deep. Or just burn them.  These words are the devil and will completely diminish your results.

If you have these words in your vocabulary… or even associate around friends that do… get rid of them! LOL

Now that we have that clear… let’s get down to business.

The first step and most important step in my eyes is to have a 100% “CLEAR” picture of what it is you exactly want.  Don’t just say… “I want to make a lot of money this year or I want to drop 30 pounds.”  Think about it very thoroughly and create a realistic list of goals you want to achieve.

Physically write them down on paper.  You know… remember the good ole pen/pencil?  Once you have your complete list… you will want to set them up by priority.

My Personal Examples:
1.) Take each one of my 4 kids out separately each week to spend a good 1-3 hours of quality time with them. (starting immediately)
2.) Lose 30 pounds of fat by February 26th (my birthday).
3.) Post to my blog at least 1 time per week giving the MOST VALUE that I possibly can and help as many people as I can. (starting immediately)
4.) Do $500,000 in sales by July 1st via Webinars.
5.) Listen to a good 1 hour of the Bible via YouVersion on my iPhone each day. (starting immediately)
6.) Build a $20,000 a month residual income selling online services to offline businesses by June 1st.
7.) Invest 10% weekly into gold and silver.

And the list goes on and on but you get the idea.  You need exact dates
of when you are GOING to achieve them as well as your exact goal in mind.

The next step is to SYSTEMIZE each one of the goals.

Let’s take some from the list above.

To achieve all of these goals I plan on waking up at 5:00 AM before sunrise and do my morning rituals.  Eat at least 40 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up following Tim Ferris’s book “The 4 Hour Body”.

Head to my Crossfit Training by 6:00 AM.

Finish off my workout and pickup my daughter to take to school by 8:00 AM.  Head to my office and start my 2 hour power hours as I discussed a few posts ago in “How I Get Weeks of Work Done in Just a Few Hours“. (read other post later)

Be done with my work by 2:00 PM so that I can take one of my kids out for a couple of hours.

Spend time with the whole family… and be asleep by 11:00 pm.

This is how I am structuring each day so that I can achieve those goals.

Now obviously you will have to designate and create systems for each part of your business goals as well.

Now for #6 on my list above… to build a $20,000 a month residual income from local businesses (very doable) I will designate 2 full hours to talking with my sales team…  talking to my fulfillment team (designers, seo team, etc)… and constantly trying to improve and scale up by testing and tweaking.

If that kind of stuff scares you I highly recommend reading or listening to “The 4 Hour Workweek”.  It’s definitely changed my business.

I think it is also very important to constantly be learning and motivating yourself.

Be Teachable.  As soon as you think you know it all… you don’t know anything.

Create a dream board with the house that you want, the car that you want, the vacation you want etc. and have it posted on a wall right in front of your face.  Trust me it really works as corny as it might sound.

Listen to motivational speakers,  music that pumps you up, or anything that gets you pumped up for that matter. Do anything that you can do to keep yourself motivated and pumping out as much work as you can to achieve your goals.

I may even throw in a 30 minute walk mid afternoon to clear and refresh my mind and body.

Stop being a perfectionist.  This only holds you back. You don’t have to get it right… you just have to get it going.

To achieve most of your business goals remember this one thing.  Give 110%, Always Over Deliver, and Put as Much Increase into Others as Humanly possibly.

Trust me… your customers/prospects/subscribers will always remember you for having these qualities.  And people talk!

So lets make 2012 OUR year.  Lets OWN it together.  I’m here with you 100% if you need any help or advice and I truly want to see you do better then you ever have in your life.

Designate time right now or within the next day to setup your list… prioritize, and systemize!

I really hope this has helped you and if it did… please help me by sharing this with your friends below.

Be Blessed,

So I’m sure you watched the movie “Limitless” that was recently a box office hit in 2011.  If not you should see it because it’s a great flick.

Regardless of whether you have seen it or not to sum it up it’s about a guy that literally becomes limitless by taking a pill.  He looked better,  became a sly talker,  could make money out of thin air, and pretty much had everything perfect.

Now I’m not going to tell you to take a pill by any means… but you can become pretty “Limitless” in your business and/or life.

Here is my Exact Formula for my Health, Business, and Family Life that makes me feel “Limitless” right now…

First of all I center my life around Jesus Christ.  I believe that if you have him as your foundation for EVERYTHING then you are surely going to succeed.  Whatever succeeding in your life might be.

Second I believe I have to take care of my health so that I not only look and feel good but can have enough energy, strength, and patience to be a good Husband and father of my 4 kids.

I do this by simply making myself get at least 7-8 hours of sleep at “night”.  I have found that getting 7-8 hours of sleep during the day is totally different then sleeping at night.  Trust me being an entrepreneur for over 14 years I used to think I would get more work done at night!  The truth is if you can get to sleep by 11-12 pm and wakeup by 7-8 I have found for me anyways that I can work 10x faster and get way more done.

Next I make sure my nutrition is up.  I don’t care how broke you are… do whatever you can to get the proper nutrients in your body because this in itself will make you feel limitless.  In essence you will probably explode your income because you sacrificed your money for better nutrition which makes you sharper, healthier, better looking, more energetic, and have higher self confidence.

Email me if you want to know the type of Nutrition I used to drop from 275 to 230. ;)

Next is making “Working Out” a part of my required work for the day.  Men/Women aren’t meant to sit around at a desk all day.  I try and go to the gym for a minimum of 1-2 hours a day (sometimes more). This allows me to completely free my mind of all my business and stress and focus on just moving.

Pretty soon going to the gym will become a habit and not only will you feel better, but working out in itself , combined with great sleep and proper nutrition will leave you feeling like you took a pill that makes you feel invincible.

And finally we get to running your business.  If you have all of the above going for you on a daily basis you can follow my methods on How I get weeks worth of work done in Just a Few Hours that I wrote on my last post.

So I hoped you enjoyed my formula for feeling “Limitless”.  As much as you can without a pill. ;)

So get this…

I went to bed at 8:30 PM and my beautiful innocent 8 year old daughter Hailey comes in and asks if she can sleep in my bed.  Of course…  me being a “Cool Daddy” said sure why not.

I asked her what time it was and she said 5:30 AM.  So me being so tired believed her… I got up… got ready for the day… and then looked at the clock.  It was only 12:30 AM!

My Everyday Life

So now that I am wide awake I figured I wouldn’t “waste” my time and try to provide you some value on how I get weeks worth of stuff done in a couple hours.

No I’m not talking about outsourcing in this post… although I do A LOT of that…  but something that literally took me YEARS to master and am still mastering to this day.  Time Management.

So here is my little system that works for me… and might work for you as well to help you run your business a lot better.

First of course you need to have ONE main goal.  Not 3… not 7… ONE.  And work your butt off towards that ONE goal.

Did you know that studies have shown that if you are “multi-tasking” your brain is the equivalent of someone high off of weed?  Example Below…

Also you need ZERO distractions.  Get off Facebook… (unless you are marketing on Facebook)… turn your cellphone ringer off,  and get away from the kids and especially the wife (just kidding Kayla).  No but really…  ZERO distractions.

Here is why.  Do you ever feel like you get in that zone where everything is clicking and you feel unstoppable?  You probably get more done then ever during this time don’t you?  Well even the smallest distraction such as you checking your email for 5 seconds… or getting a text message will take you ATLEAST 20 minutes to get back into the zone no matter how hard you try!

So here are my steps now that I just laid you down the law.

1.)  Think of EVERYTHING you can think of that you need to get done to “move you forward” towards your ONE goal. Anytime you think of anything else add it IMMEDIATELY to your list.  Then of course you simply prioritize the list based on what needs to be done first so that you can do the second objective etc..  DO NOT jump from one thing to another on your list until you are completed with the first thing.

Now for the MAC I use a software tool called The Hit List that prioritizes everything for me.  The reason I like this software in particular is because it puts up a timer that stays on top of all my windows REMINDING ME of what I’m supposed to be doing on my list.

The Hit List in Action

You will find that you will wander off checking out what your friends are doing on Facebook and look up and see the timer and it reads that you were supposed to be writing an article for the last 27 minutes.  It REALLY kicks you in the butt fast and makes you realize where you are wasting your time.

Remember TIME IS MONEY.  The whole point of this post is to show you how I get weeks worth of the average persons time done in just a few hours a week.  You also get the greatest sense of accomplishment seeing how much you finished and a realization of how much closer to your ONE GOAL you are!

2.)  Only work in 2 hour “Power Hours”.  This means you work yourself as hard as you can for 2 hours then take a good 30-60 minute break. Get up… stretch… jump on the treadmill… go to the coffee shop… WHATEVER.  Just get away from your computer for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Once you come back start right back on your list and do another 2 hour power hour.  You will be shocked at how giving your brain a quick break like that will rejuvenate you and also help your creativity.

3.)  You can now be done or you can go chill for another 30 minutes and come back for another 2 hours.  This is all up to you.  I like to only do 4 hours total of hardcore ACTION each day.  Then I go hang with my family and friends the rest of the day.

Thanks for Visiting!
